What a connection can access, and what can happen with the data.
We show the exact technical permissions, data categories, whether access is read-only, and whether historical and future records are included, before you are sent to the software provider's own sign-in screen. Your agreement is recorded.
Category, history, purpose, licensee type, territory and exclusivity settings are enforced by the server when syncing and licensing, not just hidden in the interface.
Revoking a connection stops synchronization immediately, destroys the stored token and revokes it at the provider where supported. Data already licensed remains subject to the existing licence; we cannot remove data from models a licensee has already trained.
When a licence is approved and paid, approved, de-identified records are delivered outside Datavaro to the licensing AI company or authorized data intermediary, for the uses specified in the licence, which may include training AI models. Licences may be non-exclusive, so the same dataset can be licensed to several licensees. Uses already made under a valid licence, such as a model that has already been trained, may not be reversible.
AI developers only receive dataset versions they hold a valid, paid licence for, via expiring signed links or scoped, expiring API keys. They never get access to your software, credentials or other records.
